Mom made a pitcher of lemonade. The pitcher holds 16 cups. If Sam drinks one - half of the lemonade and Lilly drinks 2 cups, how much is left for other members of the family?

    The answer is 6 one half of the lemonade takes it down to 8 cups left and the minus another two.
