    2m + 4 (m - 3) = 7m - 4

    2m + 4m - 12 = 7m - 4

    6m - 12 = 7m - 4

    -6m - 6m

    -12 = x - 4

    +4 + 4

    -12 + 4 = x

    x = - 8

    This has one solution.

    Answer: One solution
