    set bottom equation to look like first one.

    2x+4y=4

    this equation is the same equation as the first just multiplied by 2. the answer is c. infinite solutions. you can plug in and solve:

    solve bottom equation equal to y, you get y=-1/2x+1

    plug into top equation

    x+2 (-1/2x+1) = 2

    x-x+2=2

    2=2

    because that is a true statement it is c. infinite solutions
