    A) p + b = 24

    B).75 +.60b = 15

    Multiplying equation A) by -.60

    A) -.60p + -.60b = - 14.4 Then adding this to B

    B).75 +.60b = 15

    .15p =.60

    plates = 4

    bowls = 20
