First let's take out the options that we know we can't use.

1.) most students are in more than one club

We can't use this bc we don't know the individuals, We only see numbers. So this one we can't use

And same with #3 we don't know if students are in more than one club bc we don't know the individuals, we only see numbers.

Now #2 we know for a fact isn't true bc it says that only 60 kids aren't in a club. And when you add all the kids up who are in a club, they outnumber the ones who don't. So that one we can't use.

So that leaves #4 as our answer because we know that for a fact!

If you can only select one answer:

Most students are not in a club.

    If you can select two:

More students are in the art club than any other club.

    Step-by-step explanation:

250 randomly selected high school students were surveyed about the clubs in which they participate.

    100% = 250

15 students are in the chess club

    6% = 15

59 are in the art club,

    23.6% = 59

32 are in the science club,

    12.8% = 32

23 are in the math club,

    9.2% = 23

60 are not in any club,

    24% = 60

and 28 are in clubs not listed on the survey.

    11.2% = 28

Which inference can best be made from the results of the survey?

Most students are in more than one club. 1) Most students are not in a club. No students are in more than one club. 2) More students are in the art club than any other club.
