Janelle says that lines l and m are skew lines. is janelle correct? yes, because the lines are not parallel. yes, because the lines will intersect. no, because the lines are in the same plane. no, because the lines are perpendicular.

    Skew lines are those lines which neither intersect nor are in same plane. Here it is given that lines are not parallel so a condition of skew lines is satisfied but it never means that it is proved that they are skew lines. here the lines intersect and are in same plane. So if jenelle says that the lines are skew lines then she is wrong because skew lines never intersect nor are in same plane.
