What is the solution to the equation 21x + 3 = 14? : p

    Start by moving the three to the other side of the equation. Do this by subtracting 3 from both sides, so you get 21x=11.

    Next, divide both sides by 21. This will give you x=11/21, which is ≈0.524.

    However, I do not see this as one of the answers. I get why you might be confused!

    in exact form it is ln (14) over ln (21) all subtracted by 3. The answer comes to - 2.133
