Zech has an old car. he wants to sell it for 60% off the current price. market price is $500. how much money would he receive in exchange for the car?

    Here we just need to find the amount he wants to sell the car at.

    0.6 x 500=a

    0.6 is 60% in decimal form (60/100) times the market price (he is selling for 60% of the market price) and a is the money he will earn.

    0.6 x 500=a

    300=a

    He would receive $300
