    Answer

    20%

    Explanation

let the cost of tie = x

Then cost of a pair of pants = (100+50) %x

    = 150%x

    = 1.5x

    The cost of shirt = (100+25) %x

    = 125%x

    = 1.25x

    (1.5x - 1.25x) / 1.25x * 100

    0.25x/1.25x * 100

    0.2 * 100 = 20%
