The lengths of three sides of a triangle are in the ratio 3 : 4 : 5. The perimeter of the triangle is 156 centimeters. What is the difference in length between the longest and shortest sides?

    3x + 4x + 5x = 156

    12x = 156

    x = 13

    3*13 = 39

    5*13 = 65

    65-39=26 cm difference
