    4y2+8y=11

    (2y+2) ^2 - 4 = 11

    (2y+2) ^2 = 15

    (2y+2) = + -√15

    y = √15 / 2 - 1, - √15/2 - 1

    y = (√15-2) / 2, (-√15-2) / 2
