    The answer is - 12

    Since - 12 < 0 = no solutions

    Discriminant Formula: b^2 - 4ac

    b^2 - 4ac > 0 2 solutions

    b^2 - 4ac = 0 1 solution

    b^2 - 4ac < 0 no solutions

    x^2 - 6x + 12 = 0

    a = 1

    b = - 6

    c = 12

    -6^2 - 4 (1) (12)

    36 - 48

    = - 12

    -12 < 0 = no solution
