A sphere with a radius of 15 cm has the same volume as a cylinder with a radius of 5 cm. What is the height of the cylinder? A) 90 cm B) 120 cm C) 150 cm D) 180 cm

    Vol of sphere = (4/3) pi r^3 and vol of cylinder = pi r^2 h

    so

    (4/3) pi 15^3 = pi (5) ^2 h

    (4/3) * 15^3 = 25h

    h = [ (4/3) * 15^3 ] / 25 = 180 cm
