There would be 2 people left in the room. The person who killed the 4 people and the fifth person who was fortunately not killed.

2 people remain in the room after the killing.

    Step-by-step explanation:

There are 5 people in the room.

You go in the room, then there are 5 people + you in the room. So in total there are 6 people in the room.

Now you kill 4 people in the room.

There were 6 people in the room when you entered the room and you killed 4 of them.

So the number of people left in the room are 2. You and 1 other guy who was in the room initially when there were only 5 of them.
