    1/2 ((3:5x) - 8) = ((3-40x) : 5x) 1/2

    3-49x/10x

    +

    7/4 (2+20x/5x) = (14+140x) / 20x

    =14 (1+10x) / 20x

    =7+70x/10x

    = (3+49x/10x + 7+70x) / 10x

    = (3+7+70x-40x) / 10x

    = (10+30x) / 10x

    =10 (1+3x) / 10x

    = (1+3x) / x

    (1/2) * ((3/5) * x-8) + (7/4) * ((2/5) * x+4) = 0

    1/2 * (3/5*x-8) + 7/4 * (2/5*x+4) = 0

    1/2 * (3/5*x-8) + 7/4 * (2/5*x+4) = 0

    x+3 = 0

    x+3 = 0

    x+3 = 0 / / - 3

    x = - 3

    x = - 3
