    If two sides are 4 units each

    (4^2) + (4^2) = x^2

    16+16=x^2

    32=x^2

    x is approximately 6units

    if one side is 4 units and other is 8 units

    (4^2) + (8^2) = x^2

    16+64=x^2

    80=x^2

    x is approximately 9 units
