    A (n) = a*r^n-1

    n=term umber

    A (n) = nth term

    a=first term

    r=common ratio

    example: A (n) = a*r^n-1

    r=4 a=2 n=9

    A (9) = 2*4^9-1

    A (9) = 2*4^8

    A (9) = 2*65,536
