A birthday cake in the shape of a circle needs to be decorated with icing. If the diameter of the cake is 5 inches, how much icing will it take to cover only the top of the birthday cake? (Do NOT round your answer)

    Area of a circle = πr²

    Diameter = 5

    The radius is half the diameter.

    Radius = 2.5

    π * 2.5² = 19.63495408
