A tree was 8 feet tall when it was planted. After 5 years, it was 18 feet tall. What was the tree's growth rate?

    y=2x+8

    it is 2 feet per each year

    It grew 2 ft per year because you take 8 ft away from the 18 then divide that now 10 by 5 to get 2 ft per year
