The measures of a pair of consecutive angles of a parallelogram have the ratio 5:7. Find the measure of each angle of the parallelogram.

    5 : 7 = 5x : 7x

    Sum of a pair of consecutive angles of a parallelogram = 180⁰.

    5x+7x=180

    12x = 180

    x = 15

    5x=15*5 = 75⁰

    7x=15*7 = 105⁰

    Two angles are 75⁰ each,

    and 2 angles 105⁰ each.

    Check:

    Sum of angles in the parallelogram is 360⁰.

    75*2 + 105*2 = 360

    360 = 360 True
