Ally brought 1/2 pound of cashews 5/6 pound of granola. plot the fractions on the number line. which quantity is greater? explain.

    5/6 is greater because if you have 1/2 pound of granola, and you put it into fractions of 6. 3/6=1/2 so if you have 1/2 pound of granola in one hand and in the other 5/6 pounds. You can look and see is 3/6 bigger than 5/6. So you answer would be 5/6 is larger than 1/2
