A brick of cheese is 3/4 inch thick. A deli cuts the brick of cheese into slices that are 1/8 thick. How many 1/8 inch slices can be cut from the brick of cheese

    3/4 is the simplified version of 6/8. How I got this is I know that 4 goes into 8 twice so you multiply by 2. Whatever you do to the bottom you do to the top so you will get 6/8.
