Greg made 4 chairs and 3 tables. Greg only has enough plywood to make at most 15 chairs or tables total. Let x represent the number of more chairs and y represent the number of more tables that Greg can make. Which of the following graphs best represents the relationship between x and y?

line joining ordered pair 7, 0 and 0, 7 and the region below this line which lies in the first quadrant is shaded

line joining ordered pair 0, 8 and 8, 0 and the region below this line which lies in the first quadrant is shaded

line joining ordered pair 0, 5 and 3.5, 0 and the region below this line which lies in the first quadrant is shaded

line joining ordered pair 0, 2.5 and 1.5, 0 and the region below this line which lies in the first quadrant is shaded

I am trying to figure out what I did wrong on this question. At first I selected answer choice A, it is incorrect. I kinda took a guess. Could someone explain to me how to do this?

From the given problem, we can arrive with the equation

    x + 4 + y + 3 ≤ 15

Notice, the 4 and 3 added to x and y, respectively. He already made these number of chairs and tables. The inequality sign is ≤ (less than or equal to) since it is stated in the problem that he can only make at most 15 chairs or tables total. Rearranging the equation:

    y ≤ - x + 8

From the equation, letting x or y be zero, we have the intercepts as 8. From the choices, the only answer giving that is the second choice.
