the length of a rectangle is twice it's width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 48 cm, find it's length and width.

    Let L represent the length of the rectangle.

    Let W represent the length of the rectangle.

    We know that the perimeter of the rectangle is 48cm, which is equal to 2 (L + W).

    Therefore, L + W = 24cm.

    We also know that L = 2W.
