    Use the pythagorean theorem.

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    a and b are the legs of the triangle while c is the hypotenuse.

    So,

    30^2 + b^2 = 35^2

    b^2 = 1225-900

    b = sqrt (325)

    b = 18.028

    The length of the other leg is 18 (to the nearest whole number)
