Kaifeng Montez can buy:

8-slice Pepperoni pizza for $15.92

or

12-slice pizza for $22.32

One slice of Pepperoni pizza is $15.92 : 8 = $1.99

One slice of the second brand pizza is $22.92 : 12 = $1.86

So a piece of the second brand pizza is cheaper that a piece of Pepperoni pizza.

The second brand pizza (12-slice pizza) therefore is a better deal.
