Extended C constructed response: solve the problems, showing all work Partial credit may be given. You are making homemade ice cream mixture. The recipes call for:

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

2/3 cup sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

6 egg yolks

a) You accidentally pour 1 cup sugar into the ice cream mixture. How much whole milk should you use to keep the recipe ratios the same?

b) How much heavy cream should you use for this mixture (with 1 cup sugar) ?

c) You decide to make homemade ice cream again, but this time you double the recipe in order to have enough ice cream to bring to a party. List the new ingredient amounts.

    A) I'm think 1 1/3 of a cup

    B) 2 1/3 cups of heavy cream

    C) 4 cups of heavy cream

    2 cups of whole milk

    1 1/3 cups of sugar

    2/8 teaspoon of salt

    12 egg yolks
