    In right angle ΔABC, if ∠C is the right angle, then the hypotenuse is AB.

    Given that the hypotenuse is 10, therefore AB = 10

    AB = 2CB

    10 = 2CB

    CB = 10 : 2 = 5

    Pythagoras' theorem: a² + b² = c²

    5² + AC² = 10²

    AC² = 10² - 5²

    AC² = 75

    AC = √75

    AC = 5√3

    Answer: AC = 5√3

    AB = 10

    AB = 2CB

    10 = 2CB

    CB = 5

    10^2 - 5^2 = AC^2

    75 = AC^2

    AC = sqrt (75)

    AC = 5sqrt (3)
