    Clerk: 8 hours

    Receptionist: 16 hours

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Hours as a clerk: x

    Hours as a receptionist: y

    x + y = 24

    x = 24 - y

    7x + 9y = 200

    7 (24 - y) + 9y = 200

    168 - 7y + 9y = 200

    2y = 32

    y = 16

    x = 24 - 16 = 8
