    1. The perimeter of a figure is the total distance around the edge of the figure.

    2. perimeter of square is 4s (or) 4a. where s=length of any side (or) a=length of any side.

    3. p=2 (l+w). where l=length and w=width.

    4. No. But if the question is both the perimeters are equal to some number eg., 30cm then we can take equal to 30cm to find some other like side or length or breadth.

    2. (ab+bc+cd+da)

    3. Yes.

    4. The formula for finding the regular polygon is just the number of sides * the length of any side.
