Jonathan needs to cover 3/4 miles. He already covered 1/6 mile. How

much more does he need to cover?

    x = 3 / 4 - 1 / 6

    x = 9 / 12 - 2 / 12

    x = 7 / 12 of a mile

    = (9-2) / 12
