The perimeter of a given parallelogram is 46 inches. If the length of one side is 14 inches, what is the length of a side adjacent to it?

    Perimeter = 2*14 + 2x where x is length of the adjacent side

    46 = 28 + 2x

    2x = 18

    x = 9 inches Answer
