In a nonlinear optimization problem:

a. all the constraints are nonlinear only when the objective is to maximize the function of the decision variables.

b. the objective function is a nonlinear function of the constraints.

c. both the objective function and the constraints must have all nonlinear terms.

d. at least one term in the objective function or a constraint is nonlinear.
