    Least common multiple of 4 and 3 = 12

    4 x 3 = 12

    3 x 4 = 12

    3/4 = 3 x 3/4 x 3 = 9/12

    2/3 = 2 x 4/3 x 4 = 8/12

    9/12 (3/4) > 8/12 (2/3)

Therefore, 3/4 is bigger than 2/3

    Answer: two thirds

3/4 Is bigger because it takes up a greater part of the fraction. Turn it into a 100% for these simple fractions. 100 divided by 4 is 25%. 25% Times 3 is 75%. 2/3 Is 33% per third. 33% times 2 is 66%.
