    Since it is a right angle you can use the pythagorean theorem a^2 + b^2=c^2

    4^2+b^2 = 4.1^2

    16 + b^2 = 16.81

    b^2 = 0.81

    b = 0.9

    a^2 = c^2 - b^2

    a^2 = (4.1) ^2 - 4^2

    a^2 = 16.81 - 16

    a^2 = 0.81

    a = 0.9

    answer

    other leg = 0.9 in
