    maximum value of y = 3

    Step-by-step explanation:

    line Starts at - 4, 0 & turns at - 1, 3

    Slope = (3 - 0) / (-1 - (-4)) = 3/3 = 1

    y = x + c

    => 0 = - 4 + c = > c = 4

    => y = x + 4

    line after turning crosses the y-axis at (0, 2) and the x-axis at (2, 0)

    slope of this line : (0-2) / (2-0) = - 1

    y = - x + c

    2 = 0 + c = > c = 2

    => y = - x + 2

    => y = 2 - x
