A cylinder has a base radius of 3ft and a height of 9ft. What is its volume in cubic ft, to the nearest tenths place?

    Which rounded to the nearest tenths place, is 254.5

    The equation to find the volume of a cylinder is V=πr^2h, so if we input 3 into where r is, and if we input 9 in the place of h, we get V=π (3^2) 9

    If we solve the exponent, now it's V = (π9) 9. So now we multiply pi by 9, then that by 9, and you get 254.47
