Janet and heath ate 1/2 of pizza for dinner one night, and heath ate another 1/6 of the pizza for lunch the next day. What fraction of the pizza was eaten in all?

    find 6 and 2's LCM which is 6.

    divide 6 by 6 and multiply by 1. divide 6 by 2 and also multiply by 1 and you get 3. add the answers you got which is 4 and divide it by the LCM which is 6 so you have 4/6 ... put in its lowest terms it's 2/3
