    13.5 hours

    Step-by-step explanation:

    If it takes Amy 12 hours to complete the job alone

    And it takes Tom 15 hours to complete the same job alone,

    How long will it take for both of them to get the job done together?

    Amy = 12 hours

    Tom = 15 hours

    Amy + John = ?

    (12 + 15) / 2

    27/2 = 13.5 hours.

    So it would take Amy and Tom 13.5 hours to complete the job together.
