    Step-by-step explanation:

First we divide the number of miles Hillary drove in November by the number of miles per gallon to figure out how many gallons of petrol she used.

    580/33.5 = about 17.3 gallons of petrol

Next, we multiply the gallons of petrol by a liters to figure out how many liters she used.

    17.3 x 4.55 = about 78.8 litres

Finally, we multply the number of litres Hillary used by the cost per litre

    78.8 x 1.09 = 85.87
