    pythagoream thereom

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ... a and b are ur legs and c is the hypotenuse

    3^2 + 6^2 = c^2

    9 + 36 = c^2

    45 = c^2 ... take the sqrt of both sides ... this eliminates the ^2

    sqrt 45 = c

    6.708 rounded = 6.71 = c <===
