First divide the total by the amount bought.

    $8.15/5 = $1.63

take the price per can and add $0.35 to add back on the usual price of tuna.

    $1.98

    1.28 because 35 cents x 5 divided by 8.15 is 6.4 and 6.4 divided by 5 is 1.28
