Yummy Cookies just opened a brand new cookie bakery, ans sales are increasing every month! In January, the baker made 14 carrot cake cookies. In February, the baker doubled the January order, took 5 cookies home to his family, and sold the rest. If the baker continues to double the full amount and then bring 5 cookies home to his family, how many cookies will the baker sell in March and April?

    March he sells 51. April he sells 107

    Step-by-step explanation:

    In jan he made 14 so we double that for feb and have 28.

    From that 28 he takes home 5 so we are left with 23.

    Then we double 28 for March to get 56 but he takes 5 home which leaves 51 to be sold and so on.
