    21 kids

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let's get started!

    Ok, let's relay some information!

    Boys: 18

    Girls: 24

    18 + 24

    = 30 + 12

    = 42

    42 kids total

If we divide by two we get an even number also since it is divisible by two that means we can have the greatest amount of kids there.

    42 : 2

    = 21

    21 kids

Put them in 2 teams. 18 boys so 9 in each group. 24 girls so 12 in each group.
