A and B received a total of $210,000 from a deceased relative's estate. They decided to put away $50,000 in a trust for their child and divide the remainder into ¼ for B and ¾ for A. How much will A receive?

    Setting aside: $50,000

    Remaining: $160,000

    3/4 of remaining amount: 160,000 times 0.75 = $120,000

    1/4 of remaining amount: 160,000 times 0.25 = $40,000
