Volume of a cube = side times side times side. Since each side of a square is the same, it can simply be the length of one side cubed. If a square has one side of 4 inches, the volume would be 4 inches times 4 inches times 4 inches, or 64 cubic inches. (Cubic inches can also be written in3.)

    Step-by-step explanation:

    1. First, know what your length, height, and width is.

    2. Remember the rule Volume = Length * Width * Height

    3. Measure the length.

    4. Measure the width

    5. Measure the height

    6. Multiply all of them together

    7. Now you have your volume.

    8. Add the "units3" to your volume
