    4x+10 > = 11

    4x+10-10 > = 11-10 ... subtract 10 from both sides

    4x > = 1

    4x/4 > = 1/4 ... divide both sides by 4

    x > = 1/4

    x > = 0.25

This means x must be 0.25 or larger. The next integer closest to 0.25, that is above 0.25, is the value 1.

So x = 1 is the smallest integer solution possible.
