If it takes 26 hours for Jane to paint a house, and it takes 22 hours for Julie to paint the house, how long will it take them working together? (Round your answer to the nearest minute.)

    There is a formula for this:

    Total Time = (Worker1 * Worker2) / (Worker1 + Worker2)

    (26 * 22) / (26 + 22) = 572 / 48 = 11.9166666667 Hours =

    11 Hours 55 Minutes
