Which value of X is the solution of the equation 2/3x + 1/2=5/6

    You would multiply everything by 6 to get (4x + 3=5). then move the 3 over to the 5 and make it a negative (4x=5-3). then subtract 5 and 3 (4x=2). then divide by 4 on each side so you get x=1/2
