Can anybody show me the steps to answering this question? 7x - 2z = 4 - xy

    7x-2z=4-xy

    Add xy to both sides:

    7x-2z+xy=-xy+4+xy = xy+7x-2z=4

    Then you add 2z to both sides:

    x (y+7) = 2z+4

    You divide both sides by y+7
